How to Invite a New User

Whenever you decide you wish to invite a new account user to your WineDirect store you will need to go to Settings > Account Users > Press the Invite Users Button

You will then see the page to input the new users information:

You will be required to fill in the new users First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Role.

There is an optional section for End Date. This will allow you to have an expiration date to a users access for your WineDirect store. This is recommended for seasonal staff, external designers and developers.

The Status section will be left uneditable with the status of Pending until the user accepts the invitation via the email link sent to them. Once the user has accepted the invitation, the option to edit the status between Active and Deactivated will become available.


Differences Between Roles

There are currently 2 user roles available within WineDirect. They are Staff and Store Admin. Both roles have different permissions within each section of your WineDirect Dashboard. The different permissions can be found in the table below.
